My goal

During my years of living, I have experienced many things. many of which have made me who I am today. I remember the day I came I came to America from my home country, China. a new stage in my life has started. I was brand new here. My first obstacle was English. I knew nothing about English except the basic letters. I knew that if I wanted to be successful, I need to learn English, if I want to master English better than others, I must pay more than others, I must set aside more time. Not be lazy. I hope I can successful in American. This is my goal.

Electron Devises and School

Times are changing and we need to accept the technology as a part of our every day life. According to the research from Flurry, 6.8 Million devices from Android and IOS were activated only between Christmas and New Year. Most of the users according to Flurry, were teens and scholars. We all know that today we can’t imagine our life without technology. But, is it necessary to use electronic devises during the class?

In many cases those kind of tools can be really practical. Today’s phones include so many different needs like calculator, dictionary, and different applications that can make things more convention for the students. Beside caring paper dictionary and individual calculator I do not see a reason why students can’t use their phones if the teachers allowed it. Of course, there are so many ways to make students distracted, but I also believe there exist methods that can avoid those distractions.

Realization

Hello my dear teammates, I glad to join in our Group Six LAJN. As the first free writing, I would like to introduce myself again. According the first day in class self-introducing, my name is Lucas Liang. I am from China. I have been living in Chicago almost five years. It is a kind of shame on me because I have soaked in this school for a period of time, and I still in English 99. Few of my friends who were same class with me, they are already in English 101. Honestly, in last semester, I focused too much in my job, that caused me careless on my homework and study. Fortunately, Corona is our teacher in this semester. She used to my level four teacher. She is tough, and always has crazy much homework during the semester. But on the other hand, I understand that she wants us to have more chance to practice, because she knew what we need more to improve our English, which is practice and practice. In this semester, I am going to read and write double times more than last semester, try to finish homework before the due day. Practice makes perfect, hopefully next semester we will in the same class again in level six!!!
